You have elected to apply electronically for a Virginia College Savings Plan (VCSP) account. As part of the application process, you are required to submit a "signed" application form and are entitled to receive certain consumer notices. Because you are submitting an electronic application, your "signature" on this application will be electronic, and you may receive required notices from us in electronic form as well. By submitting this application electronically, you acknowledge that you understand that your electronic "signature" is binding to the same extent as your written signature. Because you have elected to apply electronically, we must inform you of the following things:

1. You may "opt out" of receiving consumer notices electronically. If you wish to receive a hard copy version of these notices instead, please send us an email at vcspinfo@virginia529.com or mail us your request.
2. You may withdraw your electronic consent to receive electronic disclosures after you have given it to VCSP. To do so, you must contact us at either vcspinfo@virginia529.com or by mailing your request to our office and indicate that you wish to receive hard copy consumer notices.
3. While you may print and retain this disclosure and the Virginia College Savings Plan Privacy Policy, you may also obtain a paper copy of this disclosure or the Virginia College Savings Plan Privacy Policy at no charge by requesting one at either vcspinfo@virginia529.com or by mailing your request to our office.
4. If VCSP changes the hardware or software requirements needed for you to receive a copy of your electronic consent, you will be informed of the modified technical specifications.

I provide electronic consent for VCSP to process my application and to provide consumer notices electronically. I understand that at this time, the only consumer notice VCSP plans to provide electronically is my initial Virginia College Savings Plan Privacy Policy. VCSP does not send electronic statements. You will receive hard copy statements and other communications until further notice.
