Vice-Chairman
Vincent Carpenter is the founder of Chesapeake Financial Services (CFS) and is an NASD Series 7 Registered Representative, an NASD Series 24 Registered Principal with Seaboard Securities, Inc., a licensed life and health insurance consultant, and a broker with several leading life and health insurance companies.
Prior to founding CFS, Mr. Carpenter was a financial planner and Vice-President of Operations at Strategy 2000 Financial Planning in Chesapeake. He began his financial planning career as a Registered Representative with Financial Designs (formerly Innovative Financial Concepts) in Virginia Beach, VA, in 1985.
Mr. Carpenter graduated with honors from Indian River High School in Chesapeake, VA, and was a Business and Communications major at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA. Among his civic and political activities, he is a member of the Governor's Job Training Coordinating Council, Virginia Health Services Cost Review Council, Economic Development Action Leader for the Hampton Roads Urban League's Strategy 2000 project, Board Member of the Chesapeake Branch NAACP, member of Chesapeake Forward, Chairman of Chesapeake Public School's Business Education Partnership, a Deacon at Healing Temple United Pentecostal Church and several other organizations.
