Shawn McLaughlin is the founding President of McLaughlin Ryder Investments, LLC, an Alexandria money management firm. Prior to starting McLaughlin Ryder Investments, in 2003 he worked as Senior Vice President of Investments for Legg Mason Wood Walker, Inc. in Alexandria for 20 years. A graduate of Georgetown University, he was selected by the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce as the Alexandria Business Leader of the Year in 2005. He serves on numerous civic and community boards throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia including Burke and Herbert Bank & Trust Company, the Alexandria Police Foundation and Inova Health Systems. Shawn McLaughlin resides in Alexandria with his wife and four children.
