Peter M. Vogt, PMP

Peter Vogt is the owner of PMV Acquisition Consulting L.L.C., a service-disabled, veteran-owned small business providing professional services in federal acquisition, program management and system engineering-related activities.

Prior to starting PMV, Mr. Vogt spent more than 36 years as a federal employee and a service member. He held a number of positions including program manager for Oceanic Air Traffic Control High Frequency Voice and Data Communications with the FAA. He also has held positions in federal acquisition and budgeting related to the management, design and development of large, complex and critical systems procured by the federal government at both DOD and non-DOD agencies.

Mr. Vogt is a graduate of the State University of New York, Empire State College. He obtained a master’s certificate in project management from George Washington University/ESI and attended the Senior Executive Fellows Program, JFK School of Government at Harvard University. Mr. Vogt proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1977 to 1984. He was Honorably Discharged in April 1984.

Mr. Vogt lives in Springfield, Virginia with his wife and two daughters.
