Customer Service Hold Times

Normal year-end volumes combined with the continuing impacts of COVID-19 are causing extreme delays for phone customer service. Suggestions to avoid long waits on the phone include:

  • Access your account online for year-end statements and transaction history; 1099-Qs will be online soon
  • Accept a Virtual Hold when you call and we will return your call by the end of the day
  • Contact Virginia529 by email from the Contact Us page at Virginia529.com
  • If you must contact Customer Service by phone, please be patient and you will be served as quickly as possible.

PLEASE NOTE: 1099-Qs will be mailed by January 31st. Please do not call to inquire about 1099-Qs. Given recent USPS delays, it may take several weeks to receive your mailed 1099-Q.  Alternatively, you can access your 1099-Q online by the end of January.
