Remember to check in
One of our customers’ favorite things about saving with Virginia529 is its ease and simplicity. In fact, once you set it up and choose your investment directions, it might be tempting to just "let it be" until it’s time to use it.
However, it’s a good idea to check on your account and review your information at least annually.
Doing so will ensure that you keep your information (address, phone number, email address, etc.) accurate so we can contact you with important updates about your account. Plus, you can make sure you’re on track to meet your savings goals and adjust your contributions or investment choices.
Even if you don’t need to make changes, check your account and see all the progress you’ve made. It’s a nice visual reminder of how you’re planning to make higher education a reality.
