Invest529 is one of only four 529 programs across the country to receive the highest honor this year.

Programs earning a Gold rating possess a strong combination of qualities important to investors. Invest529’s strong set of investments, solid manager selection process, low fees and strong oversight contributed to its retaining top marks for the second year running.

CollegeAmerica, Virginia529’s advisor-sold program, retains its Silver rating from years past. This makes Virginia one of only two states with two 529 programs rated Gold or Silver. (Prepaid529 is not evaluated in Morningstar’s review.)
